Brightman Clarke Architects were appointed to design a large replacement dwelling at Ravenshead, near Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire.

A complete house renovation with two sizable extensions: at the side is a two-storey build that adds two additional bedrooms, and at the rear, a significant single-storey extension that houses a new open-plan kitchen/dining/living area.

Brightman Clarke Architects are one of only a few architectural practices in the region whose directors' own surnames form the actual practice's brand. Yet, for the last six years, unless you had a meeting with Chris or Jonathan, then the chances are you would not be able to put a face to their names. Until now.
