00004 / Our design studio
In our last post, we introduced Chris & Jonathan; in this latest one, we would like to give you a glimpse into our studio. We’ve recently taken some photos.
Located in the heart of Dore village, just a stone's throw away from the Peak District National Park. Our informal, open-plan office is in a converted shop unit on what is, in effect, the village's high street, which gives us a tremendous public frontage.
We work across the region. But, Dore makes an excellent base for our architectural practice, being close to where many of our clients are. It allows us to conveniently serve the west side of Sheffield, Chesterfield and the Peak District.
When refurbishing the unit, we went for a simple, clean design with just a splash of warm yellow to give the space some vibrancy. We've created an inspiring working environment, and the studio makes a great place to hold relaxed client presentations and project reviews.
We are a RIBA charted architectural practice. And a purposefully small team of seven. Being small allows us to offer clients a bespoke service tailored to their individual needs. Yet, we are large enough to give a client confidence that we have the scope and expertise to tackle all most any residential project.
Every project starts with a drink, biscuits and a chat.
