A stone built single storey house extension on the edge of Ranmoor and Broomhill.
Design Process
Mixing traditional materials and craftsmanship with a beautiful palette of contemporary finishes and design. The key to this north-facing, single-storey extension was bringing in a lot of natural light and opening up the spaces to create a fantastic open-plan living area and kitchen.
The materials were carefully sourced to match and compliment the existing stone. During an early site investigation an old well was discovered and this was incorporated into the hard-landscaping scheme, making an interesting historic feature.
